LOVE

On the chance of sounding mushy. Have you ever had those moments in the mist of being tired and feeling sorry for yourself that you just think... I'm so lucky. That is the moment I have almost every time that I see Jon. He keeps my sane and keeps me going. I feel to fortunate to have meant him. He is a glass half full kind of person were as I'm a glass half empty. He is incredibly optimistic sometimes annoyingly optimistic but its good for me because he can find the good in any situation that I think in hopeless. We both have crazy schedules during school but we always find the time to be there for each other. Just in case you didn't know from this... I love him and that is not feeling I often share with all of you.

Eugene Experiences

With finals approaching I haven't been able to post for a while. I can't believe that I'm nearing the end of my junior year. If I was any other college student I would be heading out in the world on my own in one year. However, I guess you could say I'm lucky that I have TWO more years. It's weird that all my friends are preparing for graduation this year and they have jobs lined up in New York, San Diego and Portland. In a way I'm so jealous of them. Don't get me wrong college is great and I have realized so many things while being here but it's starting to get old and Eugene is starting to wear me down. I've been thinking about all the experiences that I've had here... those funny and not to funny... so here it goes.

The bad and the funny.. only in Eugene
1. Having a freshman roommate that brings nappy boys back to my room
2. Having a boy crying outside of my dorm room until all odd hours of the night crying for my roommate
3. All nighters for studio
4. Having a bum on his bike run into my car while driving...while his hundreds of cans scatter down a hill
5. Waking up to the noise of bums going through my trash and recycling
6. Getting hit in the head with a football and taking a face plant into the grass.... we all know this one well.
7. Getting in a car accident because some moron thought that it was a two way street...when almost all the streets in Eugene are ONE WAY.
8. Having my car get hit twice while being parked on my street and both times... no note!
9. Getting surrounded by two bums in an alley that asked me if I had any money but were too messed up to follow up on any threats.
10. Having three cans of Raspberry soda explode in my car the one day that is was 90 degrees in Eugene.

The Good
1. Meeting the love of my life
2. Realizing that I do need my family
3. Finding true friends.... not self involved spoiled children from Tualatin
4. Getting to do what I love while getting a degree
5. Being able to get pizza at any hour of the night for 5 dollars...unlike Tualatin
6. Pita Pit and Dough Co.
7. Oregon Football games

I think that the good could out weigh the bad...

BYU Game

Mom and Dad came down to visit last weekend and to go to Jon's game against BYU. We walked to the field that they were playing on because it was a beautiful day. We took pictures on the bridge on the way over.
The boys didn't win but someone did get quite a sunburn.
