Visit Home

So I only got to go home for a short time for Dad's birthday but it was totally worth it. I hadn't been home in two months and it was so good to just be home. However it was weird not having a room.... Anyways, I was so happy to get a chance to see grandma and grandpa, they are so sweet and cute! It's always good to see them. I was also very excited to see my niece , she has grown so much since I saw her last. I showed her a video of herself on my computer and she thought it was the funniest thing ever and she kept waving to herself... it was adorable. But whenever I would take a picture of her this is the face I got! Lol Still pretty darn cute though.

Anniversary

So Jon and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary last Tuesday, Feb 26th. I can't believe it's already been two years but at the same time I don't remember what it was like with out him... aww cheesy I know but true. We didn't really have much time to celebrate because Jon had practice until 9:30 but we did get to go out to dinner at Pf Changs. Jon gave me a beautiful ring...no I'm not engaged it's just a pretty for me and kind of a promise. It has three little diamonds in the center and he said that they represented two greats years together and the other one represents the years to come! How sweet. The pictures are a little blurry but you get the point.

It's official!!!

I got the email last night that I have been selected to participate in the summer Rome program. I start going to meetings tomorrow! This is the beautiful city I will be living in for two months!!! I'm so excited and that is an understatement. This is the Campo de Fiori plaza and this is the plaza that my apartment overlooks!! Couldn't get anymore beautiful. Also the apartments are just blocks away from all the major landmarks in Rome.

Just some more pictures!

First Game

Jon also had his first home game this weekend against Oregon State. However, it's not really their civil war because Oregon State isn't that good. So needless to say they won. Jon had a behind the back goal this game and it was pretty awesome. Anyways Jon's parents and little sister Stephanie came down to watch Jon play. They actually fed me my first two meals from after being sick. This was the only fun part of my weekend. The rest was being sick and doing homework.

Updates

So just some updates. My car is all fixed now and back to normal. I just finished midterms week. I had two midterms in Finance and Economics and guess what I got A's on both...finally getting some good grades again. So I was ready to relax and have some fun this weekend but that didn't happen. I ended up getting a cold starting on Thursday and then on Friday on top of my cold I got the stomach flu!! I was on my couch all day Friday and I couldn't even move. It was the most miserable experience of my life...I think I had every sick symptom that ever existed. Now I'm able to eat and actually move around but I still have a little bit of my cold left. Hopefully I'll be all better by tomorrow, however, being stuck in my house all weekend sick was not the way I wanted to spend my weekend.
